OnYourShape began with something very close to home: crochet.

Long before there was a website, there was a hook, a ball of yarn and a grandmother's lap. Crochet has been part of our family for generations. Our grandmothers taught our mothers, and our mothers taught us, the same stitches, the same patience and the same habit of making things properly so they last.

We never saw a cardigan as something to look at on a hanger. It's something you wrap yourself in on a cold morning, wear over a dress in spring, and live in all weekend. Comfort, fit and how a piece holds up over time have always mattered more to us than trends.

When we started selling online, the same questions kept coming up from customers:

How big is it really? Will it fit me?
Is the colour the same as in the photo?
How do I wash it without ruining it?
What happens if it doesn't suit me?

Those questions shaped the way OnYourShape was built.

What We Do

We make and sell handmade crochet clothing for women, mainly cardigans and sweaters.

Every piece is crocheted by hand, using techniques passed down to us by our grandmothers. The cables, bobbles, popcorn stitches, hearts and little 3D flowers you'll see across our collection all come from that same tradition, done slowly, stitch by stitch, the way we were taught.

Because each piece is made by hand, no two are ever completely identical. Small differences in stitch, tension, colour or size (usually within 1 to 3 cm) are a natural part of handmade crochet, not faults.

How Our Products Are Prepared

Every OnYourShape piece goes through the same steps before it reaches our website:

Choosing the yarn and colours for each design
Crocheting each piece by hand
Finishing the edges, seams and buttons
Laying it flat to measure the length, bust and sleeves
Photographing it and writing clear, accurate product details

Everything we list is already made and in stock, so there's no waiting for your order to be produced. We fold each piece (never hang it) and pack it carefully so it arrives in the same shape it left us.
